AustinP: I was in the Army for 10 years. I hope you do join. It is a very good experience!!! AqueousBeef: Thanks for the "Thank You " for serving. I made the mistake of seeing the politics section and goin into it. It totally side tracked me from the bike section. As far as acting my age I am defending my ideas. I am doing no different than Anyone else. As far as the "your ignorance amazes me" thing that all the kids keep saying on here, is that a fad these days!? Are you all programmed to say that? All I did was question these kids point of view and it made them mad. I am sorry but at 16 years old, they do not have it all figured out when most of them have not been outside of te city they live in and still live with mommy and daddy

HAHA, Crucible metals invented it. We do a lot of their prototype steel work, its really interesting to see the newer super-steels they make too. BUT, all my everyday carry knives are s30v. Its so solid that I cant give it up. I think thats about 6-7 knives that are in the carry rotation.

When I checked he hadn't even posted in any bike related topic. He's purely a shit disturber. I'm sure the quotes in the OS thread will bring some attention to his idiocy.

Oh god I know. It's elitist jerks like him that piss me off. There seems to be way too many of them who are relentless and can't think logically.

we used to have a jet ski, nothing beats blasting past some rowers at 60mph!

sykesy wrote
August 18, 2008 at 18:17
yes we are famous for it, but it's only popular in the more affluent parts of the country (i.e oxford and cambridge)and mainly is a sport for the upper class, which is why we produce such good rowers because the people who take part can afford expensive coaching from an early age as their parents are properly rich. But i live in oxfordshire, and i can tell you now, a lot of the people i have come across who row couldn't be further up their own arse, posh gits, lol

sykesy wrote

our own sport though i.e our national sport is football. Also we have got 2 gold medals in rowing and it isn't that popular in the uk so i don't know how you can call it 'our sport'

The English are very different people compared to us North Americans. Stone was used way back in the day just like how some people call the Pound a Quid. It is a slang/old term. You sort of either know what it means or you don't.

Haven't gotten out there yet. I'm in North Carolina at the moment. I'll probably be out west at the end of the month. Going good though. I've had some absurd backcountry epics the last couple weeks. 3 weeks ago I rode Windrock in the rain and that was just retarded. I might do a little write up in a couple weeks.
